Information

The guesthouse has seven double rooms on the ground and first floor.  All rooms have access to a fridge and a coffee machine (complimentary coffee and tea). There is a living room on the ground floor decorated in Scandinavian style available for all our guests to enjoy at their convenience. 

All bedrooms have quality beds, goose down duvets, fluffy pillows and delicate bed linens.  Special health pillows (IQ Care) are available upon request as well as synthetic duvets and pillows. Wifi is available throughout the house and is free of charge.

Four bedrooms on the first floor come with a private bathroom. There is a shared bathroom on the upper floor for the three other bedrooms. All bathrooms are brightly lit and have a good shower. Amenities include a hairdryer, shampoo, shower-gel and body lotion.

Parking is available outside the house and is free of charge.

Baby crib is available upon request and is free of charge.

Check in times are from 16:00 to 21:00 and check out is 11:00.  If you are checking in at other times please let us know by sending and email to syslo@syslo.is or call the reception at Hotel Egilsen which takes care of check in and check out, the phone number is +354 554 7700. 

Check in is at Hotel Egilsen, Aðalgötu 2, Stykkishólmur which is close to the harbour and within walking distance from Bænir & Brauð. The staff at Hotel Egilsen will welcome you with a warm cup of coffee or tea and a cold drink on a warm day. Our staff at Hotel Egilsen will hand over the key to you and guide you to Bænir & Brauð.
